Our recent annual Googs Track Tour this year was a little different with rain accompanying us, making our trip quite memorable. Seeing water on Googs Lakes was also very special and with lots of water on the track, it made 4WDriving interesting. We stopped for lots of photos of the wildlife and wildflowers and had a great group on our tour and because the Tarcoola Road was closed as we got near Mt. Finke, we ended up doing the track in both directions in the one trip – a first for us too!

We occasionally see Blue Tongue Lizards on our travels, but haven't seen the darker coloured ones as yet.

A nice warm day for our Flinders Day tour and one of our guests, Heather was really keen to hold a lizard or two. So I found a Sleepy lizard and an Eastern Bearded Dragon and picked them up for her to hold. We also got to see a small Goanna at lunch time.....to make the trifecta!!

A great Tag along Tour on the Goog's Track gave us some wonderful photo opportunities on the way and as we crossed the 363 sand dunes to complete the iconic 4WD Track.

Had a great Flinders Ranges Day Tour yesterday with one big happy family! Lots of laughs and a bit of learning with the O'Loughlin & Troiani families. We had perfect weather for photography and our tour. O'Loughlin, we even got to see an echidna on the way home!

Some photos from a recent Flinders Ranges Day tour with a lovely couple, Mick & Shannan. We had great weather and they got to see lots of our wonderful and ancient scenery, local wildlife and we were spoilt seeing 10 Yellow Footed Rock Wallabies too!
