We need suggestions 🙏
We will be in New York from 30 June to 5th July and need suggestions on the best places to eat and drink !
We don’t want tourist / ridiculously expensive places. We are looking for the amazing, quirky, unique places that locals eat everyday.
The areas we are looking for include :
Brooklyn area / Williamsburg
Manhattan Island - East Village, Greenwich, Soho, Chelsea, Meat Packing District
We are staying at Citizen M Times Square, but will be travelling to he other areas for day trips.
Looking for amazing breakfast, lunch, dinner, bars, brunch, snacks …. Well everything really. And tell us if Katz’s Deli is a must do ? My thoughts are a yes just for the icon it is ?
We are filming some content for YouTube about New York, and it will have a theme along the lines of this opening script :
New York City.
For more than a century, people from every corner of the world have come here chasing something bigger. A career. A fortune. Fame. A fresh start. The chance to finally make it.
But is New York really everything it's cracked up to be?
Over the next four days, we're putting the city to the test. Not by ticking off every tourist attraction, but by exploring the neighbourhoods where real New Yorkers actually live, work and dream.
We'll be wandering through Williamsburg, Greenpoint, SoHo, Greenwich Village, Chelsea, the Meatpacking District and the East Village.
We'll be eating where locals eat, drinking where locals drink, and trying to discover what everyday life in New York is really like.
Because behind all the movies, the skyscrapers and the bright lights of Times Square, we want to find out whether the reality of New York still lives up to the romance.
So join us as we explore New York City, celebrate a milestone birthday, and try to answer one simple question...
Is New York still the city where dreams come true?
