Tonight is the night!

The Helloworld Travel Rochedale team is off to the Logan Business Distinction Awards at the Logan Entertainment Centre, and we couldn't be more excited!

We're looking forward to celebrating the incredible businesses, entrepreneurs and community leaders who make Logan such a vibrant and inspiring place to live and work. To be recognised alongside so many outstanding finalists is an honour in itself.

We're incredibly proud to be finalists in the Retail category. Whether we bring home the trophy tonight or not, this nomination is a reflection of the hard work, dedication and passion of our amazing team, as well as the support of our wonderful clients and community.

From a locally owned and operated travel agency to standing among Logan's best businesses, we're taking a moment tonight to appreciate just how far we've come.
We're feeling excited, grateful... and yes, a little nervous too! 🤞

Something BIG has come to Rochedale Shopping Village…

And yes… it’s us!

You might have noticed our brand new Helloworld Travel Rochedale pylon sign out the front of Rochedale Shopping Village!

A pretty exciting little upgrade for our store and one that definitely makes us a little harder to miss!

So if you’re driving past, keep an eye out for the new sign and of course, come say hi when you’re ready to start planning your next adventure.

Harvey World Travel Rochedale, circa the ’80s!

We couldn’t resist jumping on the “Show Me the ’80s” trend and seeing what our Helloworld Travel store might have looked like back in the day. 😂

Back when travel meant paper tickets, stacks of brochures, landline phones, fax machines and a whole lot of paperwork…

And naturally, no trip back to the ’80s would be complete without big hair, bold colours and shoulder pads

Of course, there’s a slight problem with calling this a team throwback… in the actual ’80s, Carla and Tina were still little kids & Emily wasn’t even born yet!

So this might be more of an AI-powered trip down memory lane than an actual team throwback!

Travel has come a long way since the ’80s and thankfully, the hairstyles have too!

WHAT A NIGHT!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us tonight for our BENCH Africa event!

We were absolutely thrilled to see 20 wonderful people join us to learn more about one of the most incredible parts of the world. It was so exciting to see such a fantastic turnout and so much enthusiasm for Africa!

And of course, a massive thank you to Graham from BENCH Africa for sharing his incredible first-hand knowledge, experiences and photography with us. His passion and knowledge of Africa is truly second to none, and we could have listened to his stories all night!

From unforgettable wildlife encounters to breathtaking landscapes and those special travel experiences you simply can’t get from a brochure, Graham gave us a fantastic insight into what makes Africa such a bucket list destination.

We hope everyone left feeling just as inspired as we were!

Jackie and I will be sharing all about Collette Tours, including the incredible Peaks of Europe: The Alps to the Dolomites journey.
