⏳ SILO HISTORY ⏳

The concrete silo was built in 1941 and has a 75,000 bushel capacity. It was completed in time for the 1942-43 harvest season.
Due to an increase in yields, a steel annex, with a 70,000 bushel capacity, was erected in 1954.

The walls of the concrete silo are 250mm thick and the structure stands 22 meters tall. The smaller steel silo stands 18 meters tall. The silos and the surrounding land are no longer used for commercial purposes.
