πŸ₯Meet Teddy, the baker bringing a little slice of France to Rockhampton.

Today marked the first day of trading at La Petite Boulangerie's new East Street bakehouse, where locals lined up for buttery croissants, fresh baguettes and a taste of authentic French baking.

From the French countryside to the heart of the Rockhampton CBD, Teddy has built a loyal following through his handcrafted pastries and warm hospitality, and now visitors can find him right here in East Street Mall.

Why do so many visitors keep coming back to fish the Fitzroy? πŸ€”πŸŽ£

Maybe it's the thrill of hooking a barra. Maybe it's the local knowledge shared by experienced guides. Or maybe it's the memories made on the water with family and friends.

Whether it's a trophy catch, or a first fish, our local charter operators can help make it happen.

𝘍𝘳𝘒𝘯𝘀𝘦𝘴𝘀𝘰 is a portrait of Italian art curator Francesco Bonami. Standing on top of an open refrigerator stacked with fruit and vegetables, Bonami is depicted looking down at his smartphone - a pose typical of our contemporary era.

The four-metre high wax β€˜candle’ sculpture by Swiss artist Urs Fischer is continuously melting from the constant heat of a candle flame. Weekly lighting at RMOA is currently Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and visitors are advised that 𝘍𝘳𝘒𝘯𝘀𝘦𝘴𝘀𝘰 can melt in unexpected ways which may impact this schedule.
