Some days i just love my job.
I had the pleasure of spending 2 days with Carmen and Kerry onboard their Formosa 525 centre console.
Being very new to fishing and boating they both wanted to learn as much as possible while they were here.
Thursday we were able to get out to Musgrove, fishing our way out, lunch in the lagoon and then fished our way home.
Today (Friday) we stayed closer to shore due to the winds but they both managed to land some nice fish.
It was great to see the progression and confidence in both ladies over 2 days on the water.
Definate highlight of the trip was the 83cm, 10-12kg fish of a lifetime Red Emperor for Carmen.

It's not easy being a guide when it constantly blows and weather windows are so small.
My new shirt sums up most days at the moment.

We finally got a good 3 day weather window and I was lucky enough to jump onboard with Jeremy and Blair for a 3 day mission.
The boys fished hard and made the most of the glamour conditions to fill
the esky with some very nice trout,tuskies and1 cobia that went 13.6kg.
The lunchtime tide change bite had the trout smashing anything they dropped in front of them with double hookups common.
Had an absolute great time with these guys over the 3 days.

Been pretty quiet posting updates lately due to all this bad weather.
Surely it will end soon and we can all get the 5 knt variables and no swell we all dream for to punch the miles and get the smiles.
Fingers crossed we don't see to much more of this.

Great chilled day out the reef with the crew from Dirty Tackle testing some lures.

Glamour conditions out at Boult reef today for a recreational fish.
I rarely get to fish while on charter so it was nice to be on the rod again.
Plenty of fish to fill the esky.
Still testing the new lure from Dirty Tackle with another quality trout falling victim. . . .
