Look what I found on the sandbank this morning! 😳

A massive ball of string. Far too much for me to take back on the kayak.

So I called the LARC, and they very kindly picked it up on their way to Bustard Head this morning.

A bit of teamwork to get a whole lot of rubbish off the beach. 🙌 And not the first time we’ve joined forces for something like this either.

This week’s kayak tour schedule 👇

The new moon on Friday means big tides and strong currents, so there’ll be no Sunset Tours Wednesday to Friday.

The good news — Tuesday and Wednesday are looking great for our Nature Tours! 🛶☀️

At this stage we’ll also be closed Thursday and Friday, with strong winds forecast on top of the tides.

Wind forecasts do have a habit of changing their minds though 😄🙄, so if things improve, we might change ours too.

We have lived in Agnes Water & 1770 for more than 20 years, so I thought it was about time I put together a list of some of the places and little things I’d actually recommend to friends.

Some are genuinely hidden. Some aren’t hidden at all. There are quiet beaches, local food, wildlife, walks, a few cheap finds and a couple of things you might not know about.

Including, apparently, somewhere you can still buy $4 worth of hot chips and call it lunch. 😂

Today’s Sunset Tour is FULL.

Still keen to get out on the water this weekend?

🌿 NATURE KAYAK TOUR – tomorrow (Sunday)
3 hours exploring Round Hill Creek, mangroves, wildlife, sandbanks and all the bits you don’t see from the road.

🌅 SUNSET KAYAK TOUR – Monday
2.5 hours on the water, a beach stop, snacks and front row seats for sunset.
