Join us at Agnes Water Tavern on Sunday 13th September for a very special afternoon of music, community and support.

Tavern Tunes is bringing our community together to raise funds for two great local men, Chappy Todd & Simon Stower, who are both facing challenging cancer journeys.
And the best part? Everyone can join in!

Look what I found on the sandbank this morning! 😳

A massive ball of string. Far too much for me to take back on the kayak.

So I called the LARC, and they very kindly picked it up on their way to Bustard Head this morning.

A bit of teamwork to get a whole lot of rubbish off the beach. 🙌 And not the first time we’ve joined forces for something like this either.

LARCman Neil Mergard has a few ‘Dad jokes’ to share in preparation for this Sunday’s Aussie Father’s Day, so here goes …

What do you get when you cross a kangaroo with an alien? (Answer: A mars-upial!)

Can a kangaroo jump higher than a house?
(A: Of course, a house can’t jump!)

What do you call two kangaroos who live together? (A: Roo-mates!)

What kind of music do sophisticated kangaroos listen to? (A: Hopera!) 😂😂😂

When Neil snapped this small skippy on his tour, he added his own Dad joke caption ‘the kangaroos mainly come here for the Eurimbula beach spin effects’ 🧐🤭🤣

We know the kangaroo is holding a piece of ‘beach spinifex’ in it’s paws, an ideal source of food and water to kangaroos, and he wasn’t a shy skippy, happily posing for our LARCfull of guests 📷😀🦘 Yet we’re not sure he’d approve of Neil’s Dad joke version to describe his cruisey afternoon beach antics!?!
