For the rail enthusiast or those looking for a fabulous day out, we now have NEW convenient options to join the Wimmera Shiraz and Jazz train on Friday October 9 or Monday October 12
Options include:
• Southern Cross to Ararat
• Southern Cross to Stawell
• Ararat to Stawell
• Ararat to Horsham
• Horsham to Southern Cross
• Ararat to Southern Cross
Please note – these options link with advertised V/Line services which you will need to check and arrange.

🚂Rainbow Day Out 11 October 2026🚂
❇️Join us for a day trip to Rainbow where you can experience the hospitality of the Rainbow community and explore local exhibits including the newly completed silo art in the Rainbow silo or visit the historic Yurunga Homestead.
Take a ride on our heritage train pulled by a heritage diesel on this little used line. It is a great way for family and friends to travel and enjoy the countryside.
The train picks up at Horsham, Dimboola and Jeparit.
Lunch options include Haydens Café, Eureka Hotel or other local eateries including the bakery and the Lions Club sausage sizzle or BYO lunch

🚂Tickets are still available for the Katunga Shuttle🚂
🎉Join us on our Katunga Shuttle leaving Tocumwal around 12.30 on Saturday August 22.
Enjoy the ride on the heritage train – there is time to explore the train – you can check out the train with the wonderful Yarra Car with end platform at one end of the train and the Observation Car at the other.
We have light refreshments available for purchase through our kiosks. You could also bring along your own lunch to eat along the way. Please note – you do not disembark at Katunga.

🚂Show us ya Wheels Train and Shuttles🚂
🚚🚗Planning to attend the 2026 Show us ya Wheels car truck and bike show in Numurkah on Sunday October 18? Why not take the heritage train from Seymour which will deliver right to the door of the show. 🚘🚍
🚂The train picks up at Seymour, Nagambie, Murchison East and Shepparton before arriving in Numurkah late morning. There will be time for you to explore the train. Our kiosks will be open with light refreshments available for purchase. Please note: your tickets include entry to Show us ya Wheels.
🚂We are also operating three heritage train shuttles from Numurkah during the Show Us Ya Wheels show on Sunday Oct 18.

🎉Join us on our trip home from a weekend of celebrating the 150th anniversary of the opening of the Deniliquin line by the Deniliquin Moama Railway Co 🎉
A special guest should be on the train (subject to final testing) – locomotive T375. T375 has been in private hands for some time and is now returning to service hosted by Railway Heritage Centre

🎉Join us on Echuca – Deniliquin shuttle to celebrate the opening of the Deniliquin line🎉
A special guest should be on the train (subject to final testing) – locomotive T375. T375 has been in private hands for some time and is now returning to service hosted by Railway Heritage Centre

🚂On Sunday - you can take the Deniliquin line shuttle with the optional extra of joining the Deniliquin Historical Tour which includes the coach tour, entry to 3 sites and lunch provided by Deniliquin Rotary. A display of the rail line will be open in the historic Deniliquin Town Hall.
Otherwise - you can spend the day exploring Echuca before we depart around 4.40pm for home
