Pull up a seat…

At Oceans Restaurant, it’s not just about the food, it’s about the view, the company, and the moments that make you stay a little longer than planned.

This is your sign to gather your favourite people and take a seat overlooking the waters of Shark Bay 🦈

At Ocean Park Aquarium, it’s not just about looking at the tanks — it’s about understanding what you’re seeing 🐟 👀

Our guided tours give you the chance to walk through the aquarium with a local ocean expert who brings every species to life..from the striking lionfish to our larger marine predators.

Did you know?
Lionfish have venomous spines used purely for defence and our guides love explaining how these fascinating fish survive in the wild.

But the best part?
You can ask questions.
You can get curious.
You can learn directly from someone who lives and breathes our local marine environment.

It’s personal.
It’s interactive.
And it makes your visit unforgettable.

Join a guided tour next time you visit Ocean Park Aquarium and experience the ocean through the eyes of an expert. 👨‍🔬

🐟 Meet the Barramundi Cod

One of the reef’s true gentle giants, the Barramundi Cod is a standout here at Ocean Park Aquarium.

📏 They can grow over 2 metres long and weigh more than 100kg.
🎨 Their bold black spots help them camouflage among rocky reefs.
🌊 They can live for decades and often stay loyal to the same home reef.

Big, beautiful, and surprisingly calm — they’re always a visitor favourite.

Next time you’re here, see if you can spot the spots 👀🐟

This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating one of the ocean’s most devoted mums — the humpback whale. 💙🐋

It’s a bit early still but we have spotted our first humpback of the season with

Humpback whale mothers travel thousands of kilometres while pregnant, migrating to warm tropical waters to give birth 🌎

Here’s what makes them extraordinary:

🌊 A powerful beginning
Humpback calves are born weighing up to 1 tonne and measuring around 4–5 metres long

🥛 Milk made for growth
A humpback whale mum produces rich, high-fat milk that helps her calf gain up to 45 kilograms per day in the early months of life

🛡️ Constant protection
For the first year, calves stay close to their mothers, swimming in her slipstream to conserve energy and staying protected from predators

🎶 Learning the language of the ocean
Calves learn essential survival skills — from migration routes to communication

During this time, mothers eat very little, relying on stored energy while they focus entirely on nurturing their young

Strong. Patient. Protective.

This Mother’s Day, we honour the incredible mums of the ocean — and the ones who guide us through life’s currents every day 💜
