Local Yarra Valley artist Tania Chanter's first solo exhibition opened on Friday 1st February at The Memo in Healesville to glowing reviews from all who attended. The exhibition titled, 'Horizons' features a collection of some 25 works spread through three spaces in the gallery, with the major works featured in the main gallery. Local Yarra Valley artist Tania Chanter is holding her first solo exhibition at The Memo gallery in Healesville. The official opening is on Friday 1st February, 2019 at 7pm. The exhibition will be officially opened by Gary Collier the director at Tusk Gallery and entertainment will be provided by internationally acclaimed Paris Zachariou. Throughout my creative career, I have enjoyed working in a diverse range of roles including 12 years in advertising at The Age newspaper, as a voice-over artist and media presenter and as a director of a Graphic Design company. I have enjoyed all these endeavours and while painting began as a creative experiment with my children, I never anticipated falling so completely in love with the expression and freedom it provides. It meets every creative impulse I have and is a source of endless inspiration and satisfaction.
