Long weekends are meant for slow afternoons and good food.

We are opening the cellar door this Friday through Sunday, from 10am to 4pm. Saturday and Sunday is dedicated to our handcrafted Al Pala boards. We let the dough ferment quietly for 48 hours to get the texture just right. You have two simple choices: mortadella, stracciatella and pistachio pesto, or sopressa with ricotta.

Take a seat tucked away in our beautiful blue gum cabin, or on the deck overlooking the vineyard and mountain range. Pour a glass of award-winning wine, take in the views and enjoy a relaxed experience.

It is just steady, real hospitality.

The boards are available on Saturday and Sunday only, and pre-orders are essential. Call 0408 098 596 to secure your order.

Come and see what’s behind the gate.

🔥 Thrashville is coming to Singleton, Hunter Valley

Forged in the depths of Australia’s underground, Thrashville lands at Dashville, Lower Belford near Singleton on Saturday 27 June, bringing unrelenting punk, rock and metal energy to the Hunter Valley bush.

✨🍷 BROKE FORDWICH SHINES BRIGHT WITH TOURISM GOLD 🏆🌟

Broke Fordwich is finally having its golden moment, breaking a two-year silver streak to claim top honours in the 2026 Top Tourism Town Awards.

Strong public support helped push the historic region to the top of the podium in the Tiny Tourism Town category (population under 1,500 residents) in the NSW Tourism Industry Council awards.

Mayor of Singleton, Cr Sue Moore accepted the gold award on behalf of the Broke Fordwich community at the LGNSW Destination and Visitor Economy Conference in Maitland on Wednesday 27 May.

She said the win was a just reward for the region after being consistently recognised as one of the state’s best regional destinations for the past six years.

“We’re incredibly proud of Broke’s silver results over recent years, but it has been ready for its golden moment — and now it’s here,” Cr Moore said.

“It’s a village brimming with reasons to visit — history and heritage, arts and culture, incredible food and wine experiences, and plenty of country charm.

“To be acknowledged in these awards is a testament to the passion, authenticity and love that our local businesses, makers and community share with visitors to Broke. I’d like to also thank everyone who voted for Broke, as judging relied heavily on public support.”

Broke previously won silver in the Tiny Tourism Town Awards in 2024 and 2025, and was a finalist in 2021, 2022 and 2021.
