Port Arthur has a tremendous history and still today this historic site has 4th Generations visiting which blows my mind 🤯 such a sad history, hopeful history and shocking tales to be told. A natural prison with gruelling punishments and an island dedicated to over 1100 dead souls.

We travelled basically the entire northwest of TAS. We left Truffledore and headed up to see Stanley’s nut but due to weather unable to access chairlift scenic tour. We then went everywhere but the right direction and ended up on the Edge of the World before re-routing and ending up in Strahan.

Started off with breakfast at Bread & Butter thankfully followed by an extreme 15,000+ step walk uphill to the cataract gorge thanks to Dane and his incorrect SIRI nav skills. Luckily the gorge was well worth the hike.
We visited the monkeys in the City Park and Dane investigated the old post box.

Started with national park and lighthouse walks, followed by beautiful TAS seafood lunch at the Lobster Shack, visiting the Bicheno Blow Hole and having a relaxing drink beach side of our AirBnB for the sunset.
