As you may or may not know, here at Simes Bros, we offer extended safari camping tours to Uluru and beyond.

The man in this photo has been the driving force behind bringing this incredible experience into our excursion offerings. Thanks to Mark's passion and dedication, it has become an unforgettable journey that leaves a lasting impression on everyone who takes part.

Today, Mark headed off with one of our long-standing school groups on what will be his final safari camping tour.
•
We simply can't thank Mark enough for everything he has contributed over the years. His passion, commitment, knowledge and enthusiasm have helped make these tours so much more than just an excursion - they've been memorable, educational and truly life-changing experiences for countless students, teachers and travellers. The care and pride he has brought to every trip have created memories that will stay with people for years to come.

While this marks the end of Mark's safari camping tours, we're incredibly grateful for the impact he's had in building this amazing program. His influence and the high standard he has set will continue to shape these tours well into the future.

Don't despair though! Mark isn't going far - he'll still be out on the road with our seniors groups and clients! But for now, he's hanging up his safari hat.

The last few days of our VIVID SYDNEY TOUR were very relaxing especially the cruise with Free Spirit on Wallis Lake. We highly recommend the Dorsal Boutique Hotel in Forster and the amazing restaurant, Dorsal By The Sea. An enormous thank you to Mahesh and the staff for looking after us so well and the delicious meals provided. And of course, thank you to our lovely travellers. You have been a pleasure to have on board.

Our journey continued on our ROMA AND CUBBIE STATION TOUR through Surat to Roma. We had a guided tour of Mitchell with John. How interesting it was to visit a thriving outback town. Some of our group enjoyed a relaxing dip in the Great Artesian Spa. We had a guided tour of Roma including a visit to St Paul’s Anglican Church to see the beautiful stained glass windows. Unfortunately it was too wet for our tour of the Big Rig but Justine gave us a fascinating insight into the history of oil and gas in Roma. The Roma Saleyards was another interesting place on a guided tour with Robert and Bill. Our final venue was the Cobb & Co Museum in Toowoomba. What an amazing collection of 19th century vehicles.
Special thanks to our amazing guide, Nikki, for the tour of Cubbie Station and Leanne at Maranoa Tourism for organising our tours in the Maranoa Region. And last but most importantly, our wonderful travellers. Thank you for your continued support.
