What a day at Brigadoon at Bundanoon on our PARLIAMENT TO PIPES TOUR! More than 30 pipe and drum bands from around the country. The day began with an amazing street parade, lots of entertainment throughout the day and culminating with an incredible massed bands’ performance.

Another couple of incredible adventures on our PARLIAMENT TO PIPES TOUR! Yesterday, we visited the National Museum, followed by a tour at Old Parliament House and finishing at the National Gallery. This morning, we discovered our inner child at Questacon, followed by a visit the the Royal Australian Mint. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at Lake George Winery.

We’ve enjoyed a wonderful first few days on our PARLIAMENT TO PIPES TOUR. We had a couple of days travelling then a fantastic day yesterday, visiting Australian Parliament House and the Australian War Memorial including the Last Post Ceremony where we were joined by Prince Harry. On the final few days of our BUNDABERG and MON REPOS TOUR, we were so lucky to enjoy the amazing spectacle of the turtle hatchlings leaving the nest to make their perilous journey to the sea. Photography is limited during the encounter to minimise light impacts on the turtles. Special thanks to Lester and Margaret for allowing us to use their photography. We also visited the Barrel at Bundaberg Brewed Drinks, had a drive through Bargara, a wander through Elliott Heads and an ice cream at Woodgate Beach. Thank you to our wonderful travellers for joining us.

We’ve had a wonderful few days so far on our BUNDABERG and MON REPOS TOUR. We have visited Monsoon Aquatics where they grow coral for use in aquariums and to help repopulate the reef; Burnett Heads; the Hinkler Hall of Aviation and Fairymead House and enjoyed a ride on the cane train; and a tour at Bundaberg Rum.
