WRECK WEDNESDAYS ⚓️ | EPISODE 5

Ever wondered why the S.S. Yongala is considered one of the best wreck dives in the world? 🌊

Unlike many famous wrecks that were intentionally sunk, the Yongala met its fate unexpectedly during a cyclone. Resting undisturbed for over a century, nature has had more than a century to transform it into a thriving underwater city.

Today, the wreck is completely covered in hard and soft corals, colourful sponges and marine life, creating an oasis in the middle of the sandy seafloor. It's a place where history and nature have become inseparable, making every dive an unforgettable experience 🐠🪸
