Unfortunately I have to announce that The Parrots Perch can no longer take on any rainbow lorrikeets or any lost and found birds due to a complaint from a neighbour to the local shire of noise at early evening bathing and feed time .. we will still do bird sitting but our hands have been tied on taking in any birds .. we have had to relinquish a lot of our birds to be luckily rehomed all together ... it has been a very sad week for us ..

FOUND: on Lakes Road, Mandurah, near the hospital, Eastern Rosella parrot, very distinguishable features .. if you think this may be your bird contact either myself or The Parrots Perch .. found at 5:45pm tonight .. similar looking to this one ..

Found 6th June @ Bibra Lake Park a tame adult Lorikeet that today has been handed over to the care of The Parrots Perch. if you have lost a lorikeet in that area or nearby on or before that date let us chat we may have your bird in our care.

Lost - one budgie has been lost on the Austin Lakes estate if anyone sees it please let The Parrots Perch know where so we can retrieve it and return it to it's owner ... TIA

Hi, a budgie flew into a window yesterday and stunned himself, he is now being cared for but we are now seeking its owner. He was found in Greenfields, Mandurah if you think this maybe your missing bird please contact The Parrots Perch so that you can be reunited ...

I had an awesome day to day when I dropped off a donation of two bin bags full of cabbage/cauliflower/broccoli stalks and leaves to Mandurah Just Joey Marsupial Care ... https://www.facebook.com/DotandTrish ... I got to hold a baby possum and boy oh boy are they so soft and fluffy, and other babies and of course the joey's ... this lady Dot suffers so many medical incidents but she never lets up on her babies and her responsibility for them ... please check out her page and if you can assist her please do ... she is awesome and so are all her volunteers
