An experience of a lifetime, interacting with humpback whales on the doorstep of the Gold Coast.

This interaction is called ‘mugging’. Although it can happen at any stage of the season, we find it’s most prominent on whales southbound journey. Usually younger whales in a pod, as they are more curious to check out and interact with vessels as they make their way back down our coastline.
