After six months of relentless preparation and an investment of over $3,000,000 into a fleet of 40+ vehicles, we are proud to introduce a major new chapter for Ami Tours — Ford Freedom: Self-Drive Tours, officially launching 1st July 2025.
This initiative has been designed with our clients in mind — those who seek to explore the beauty and culture of Melbourne and its surrounds at their own pace, with the freedom to create their own itinerary.
Over the past months, our business has been the target of coordinated and malicious cyber and physical attacks, compromising our website and disrupting operations at our offices. Despite these challenges, we set out to complete what we started.
Our self-drive tour program has been made possible through new partnerships with Turo and Valet 360, allowing us to offer a seamless, premium hire experience. The fleet spans everything from high-performance sports cars and stylish convertibles to compact electric vehicles ideal for city exploration, and luxury SUVs and people movers perfect for group and family adventures.
