❄️ Planning a winter trip to Stanley? Here’s what you need to know! ❄️

The iconic Nut Chairlift will be CLOSED for its annual winter maintenance from Monday 8 June, and reopening on Thursday 3 September 2026.

But don’t let that stop you from experiencing one of Tasmania’s most spectacular views! 🌊⛰️ The Nut remains open to visitors throughout winter, with the walking track providing access to the summit. The climb is well worth it, rewarding you with breathtaking panoramic views over Stanley, Bass Strait and the rugged North West coastline.

Winter is a magical time to visit Stanley - crisp air, dramatic coastal scenery and plenty of opportunities to explore this charming seaside village. 🏡✨

So rug up, lace up your walking shoes and add The Nut to your winter adventure list!
