🧚✨ If fairies lived anywhere… we’re convinced this would be it.

Tucked away at the summit of The Nut is a peaceful little forest that feels like it’s been lifted straight from the pages of a storybook. Moss-covered trees, winding paths, birdsong echoing through the bush.. and a picnic table that’s just waiting for you to stop, take a breath and soak it all in. 🌿🍃

With the chairlift currently closed for its annual winter maintenance, now is the perfect excuse to take the walk to the top. The reward isn’t just the breathtaking coastal views - it’s discovering enchanting little places like this along the way. ✨🥾

Who else thinks this looks like the perfect place for a fairy village? 🧚🌳

🦭🐧 Wildlife Wednesday 🐬🐋

One of the best things about visiting Stanley? You never know what wildlife you’ll spot! 🤩

From playful Australian fur seals basking on the rocks below The Nut 🦭, to tiny Little Penguins waddling ashore at dusk 🐧, Stanley is bursting with incredible native wildlife.

Keep an eye on the ocean for dolphins playing in the waves 🐬, and if you’re visiting during migration season, you may even be lucky enough to spot a whale passing by! 🐋

On land, you’ll often come across Wallabies, echidnas and a variety of coastal birds that call this beautiful part of Tasmania home. 🦘🐦

Whether you’re riding the chairlift (when it’s open!) or making the walk to the summit, don’t forget to take a moment to slow down, soak up the scenery and keep your eyes peeled - you never know what incredible wildlife encounter is waiting around the corner. ❤️
