Our Story

Briar Rose Cottages consists of three quaint cottages on the edge of the Stanthorpe township in the Granite Belt Region. The front cottage, ‘Mulberry Cottage’ is a two bedroom cottage and sleeps 4, the back cottage, ‘ Silky Oak Cottage’, is a one bedroom cottage and sleeps 2. Our newest acquisition ‘Cedar Cottage’ is a three bedroom cottage and sleeps 6 guests and is right next door! All cottages are fully self contained with modern kitchens; a full stove, oven, microwave, fridge and a range of cooking utensils and equipment. All cottages also offer a wood heater with all wood supplied. Briar Rose Cottages have all been fully renovated and feature new furniture and fixtures. ‘Mulberry Cottage’ boasts an beautifully styled, open plan living area and large front verandah. ‘ Silky Oak Cottage’ offers a gorgeous spiral staircase to a loft bedroom and a large bathroom with bathtub. ‘Cedar Cottage’ has an airy, bright open plan living area with a sunny front porch and large back deck and back yard with orchard views. There is a shared outdoor fire pit area which is the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening and chat about your days adventures! Briar Rose Cottages are located just 1km from the town centre, cafes and shops and a short stroll to Quart Pot Creek’s gorgeous walking track. The cottages are the perfect location from which to explore the local wineries and attractions.
