Day 9
A day exploring Altomonte and Pizzo in the heart of Calabria. Walking through the cobblestone streets and talking to the locals is always a good way to see how the locals live.
In Pizzo we enjoyed the famous tartufo icecream. The traditional flavour is chocolates abd hazelnut but there are many other flavours including pistachio.

Day 5

Today we had the pleasure of cooking in Puglia. Firstly, we arrived at our stunning massaria in Conversano. Here we doned our aprons, rolled up our sleeves and made an amazing lunch. We learned how to make the traditional Barese foccacia followed by orichiette and cavatelli pasta. We sat down to firstly enjoy the many cheeses made by the chef's family.... pasta, figi di'india, biscotti and digestivo!
