If you are visiting Sicily and Southern Italy soon and worried about the fires.....well, don't worry. It is a common occurance in Sicily and Southern Italy at this time of the year....just like Australia in summer. There are fires for sure, but they are well equipped to contain them. Sicily is the largest island in the Meditteranean and it is not totally burning like some social media posts suggest. It is open and you can travel freely. I speak to my family and local suppliers on a weekly basis and it is very safe and ready to welcome you.
