📣 LIVE SUNDAY AFTERNOON // NICKY AND PETE 🎶

Sunday 23rd March from 2pm

Nicky and Pete have composed and played together for 4 decades. Their music combines the timeless sensibility of the folk song with the spirit of the innovators and singer song-writers of the 60’s and 70’s, with influences from the many styles of music they have played over the years. These days they play tunes from their back catalogue of three albums recorded together as Little Oberon as well as songs from Pete’s recent solo album Lemon Sky. Together they also perform as Essence of Place, a project of instrumental tunes and soundscapes composed on the land around Australia performed for yoga and deep relaxation.

This year our opening hours have been lengthened and our doors will be open more days throughout January than our regular trading week. So there’s plenty of time to come and visit!

Click the reserve button in our bio to reserve your table to avoid disappointment. But if your desired time is not available, the picnic tables and lawn are always available for everyone to use! Weather dependant of course… Victoria! 😅

Our Story

Down the bottom right of Australia we found a little piece of something special. Rather than keep it to ourselves, we want to share it. Whether you come because of the food unlike any other, the wine made from the local Gippsland region, or one of the many other reasons to visit, we look forward to sharing our something special here with you.

This winery is what happens when three groups of friends want to do a winery a little differently and find the perfect spot to make it happen. Aside from food and wine (and cider), we have our cellar door for tastings, “The Yards” that sells some of our favourite things and famous flowers, events and always something going on. Basically, all you need to know about us we’re more than happy to tell you in person – we find over a few drinks is best.

We couldn’t keep such a beautiful spot to ourselves, so keep an eye out for our upcoming collaborations too – we’ve roped in a heap of talented folk to make sure there’s always something to look forward to at Phillip Island Winery. It might be an Italian festa, a flower-crown workshop, an afternoon of music on the grass or anything in between – safe to say, we’re not just a pretty space…
