At Aquaduck, our number one priority is making sure every guest has a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience on our tours 🦆💛

Here’s what you need to know about accessibility on board the Duck:

🎟️ Boarding – Access requires walking up 6 steep steps with rope railings on both sides.

♿ Mobility Aids – Wheelchairs, motorised scooters, and walkers can’t be taken on board due to seating layout, but we’re happy to store them safely at our office. Walking sticks and crutches are welcome.

🐶 Service Animals – Assistance pets with a clearly visible vest are welcome on board. Non-service animals are not permitted.

🗣️ Hearing Impairments – Our tours include audio commentary. A printed script is available upon request.

📱 Accessibility Support – We’re proud to partner with Cérge, a free companion app for people with disability, parents, carers and support workers! It is your personal disability advocate in your pocket to improve confidence and community participation

Aquaduck amphibious ‘Croc Bus’ Airlie Beach

Bring fun and laughter to your stay in Airlie Beach with a ride on the amphibious Aquaduck, combining an informative tour and boat cruise in one exciting ride. Explore Airlie Beach town as you board the Aquaduck Croc Bus and travel down the main street of Airlie Beach. Soak up the sun as you pass the many resorts, restaurants and shops lining the main strip. After you’ve toured the town by land it’s time for the fun part.

Experience the thrill and excitement as the Aquaduck goes from bus to boat and launches into the clear waters of the Coral Sea. You’ll then spend the rest of the tour cruising through the beautiful waters taking in the magnificent, lush rainforests and palm-lined beaches. You may even be lucky enough to spot some local wildlife or marine life. Travel past Coral Sea Marina where you can see the many boats and yachts lining the docks before returning to the foreshore where your tour began.

All up the tour will last 60 minutes and is a fantastic way to see Airlie Beach. There will be many photo opportunities along the way so don’t forget to bring your camera.
