So the dog, Suzie, and I have joined my nephew Jake and his family/friends away for this Easter weekend. We are at a place called Greens Lake, just north east of Kyneton. It's a free camp ground with flushing toilets and showers andisdogfriendly. And if you have an RV with a toilet there is a dump station for your waste. It's not too bad a spot to come and camp for a few days.

So. I found this little beauty in Airlie Beach and could not resist him. So this is his adventure upon leaving his little coastal town and heading all the way down south to Melbourne. I think that I'll call him Zommie, chuckle.

My internal cabin. The Piano Man rides the elevators from time to time. Keep an eye out for little ducks planted around the ship. I decided not to grab this one, but if I spot another I will. And my two towel animals so far.

So. I finally get to add to my adventures. I'm currently on a cruise up the eastern coast of Australia. We stopped in Airlie Beach for two days, and we'll be heading back south this evening. Yesterday a tropical storm literally blew through the township. Luckily I was already under cover when it hit. I had to wait roughly half an hour for it to ease enough to walk through. I've come back ashore today so I can play with my phone for a while and catch up with everything.

I'm on my annual pilgrimage to Portarlington. It is the first time using my new camper down here. 2nd time camping in it and 3rd time using it since I purchased it back in 2023. It is enough for my needs and enough for me to setup/pack up on my own. As to the dragonfly, well it was sunning itself on the flap. I think that this is the closest I've ever been to a dragonfly. I got to see in another new year here down at Portarlington, so may 2025 be decent to you and me.

To every one of you who have been sending me birthday wishes, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I've been unwell and you have cheered me up.

hi guys..I'm back home from taking my camper and the dog camping in the Lerderderg state park..on my first day of setting up I was greeted by a male King Parrot and his partner..it looked like he was inspecting my camp setup..I was most spewing because at the time I did not have my phone on me to snap a picture..I had to google an image to use..Lerderderg State Park campgrounds is a very popular destination for people to camp with their dogs...lots of them..they were arriving after dark trying to find a spot to camp..damn hard, even by car headlights..that place was full by Friday afternoon..they were crammed into any little spot one could pitch a tent..I'm glad that I went in Wednesday morning..chuckle..I set up in the rain and I packed up in the rain..mind you, it was a lot heavier today and I had a stream running through my camp..tomorrow I will need to pull everything out cause it was all wet as I tossed it into the camper or my car..I'll be posting some other pic's, but that will be done via my phone. later when it is charged..Suzie is comfortably ensconced in her chair and won't be leaving it in a hurry..she's happy to be home..

So..please, use your imagination. The camper is surrounded by beautiful bushland.

Yeah. I forgot to take pictures of my camper set up at my brothers country estate over the last few days. Brilliant twit I am.

I took it bush to finally try out, seeing as I'm on holidays. I slept in it for 3 nights, and as we were experiencing lows of 1°c overnight this week, it pretty much felt like sleeping in an icebox. If it wasn't for the fact that I'd taken an electric lap blanket with me, and I was plugged into the mains power, I would not have been able to do it. So, I don't think I'll be using it very much during the height of winter, not without a means of heating the inside. Otherwise, it was quite comfy for the dog 🐕 and I to sleep together in, considering that's the reason why I purchased it. Next school holidays I'll take it out again, but nowhere with mains power. I'll work off the solar.
