Lauren & Sams Australia Trip

Today we got to go to the Australia Zoo! We saw lots more kangaroos, wallabies, dingoes and KOALAS! We even got to hold one which made our day!! One of the coolest parts was that we got to see the whole Irwin Family and even got to meet Robert Irwin, Steve Irwins son! Perfect ending to Sams time in Australia as she leaves tomorrow, but we're both glad we got to do one of the top things we wanted to do before she left!

Yesterday we climbed the Skypoint tower in the Gold coast! The climb was a bit scary at first, but once we got up there the views were worth the climb!

last night we went to our first rugby game!! It was lots of fun even though Brisbane Broncos lost 6-48! After the game, the girls from Stanthorpe took us out to drinks and showed us around town! The best part was one of the girls, also named Lauren, won a surfboard in a dancing competition!

Good day spent at dream world! Lauren went on her first roller coaster that went upside down and all the rides were really fun! The best part about it was the weather decided to be perfect🌞🇦🇺

Explored South Bank today! Walked around the river which had beautiful views of the city. We also went to the science, art and modern art museums!

Had such a fun time in Stanthorpe! Did a wine tour with all the girls, made it to four wineries, but turns out we both only like white sweet wines. The cottage we stayed at was really nice and had views of kangaroos every morning! Overall, it was a successful start to being in Australia and we're looking forward to getting to spend more time with the girls!

Just arrived in Brisbane! Long trip but didn't seem as bad as anticipated, now with the family and happy to be relaxing before going to Stanthorpe tomorrow for the weekend!
