💦 PREPARE FOR FLOODING - CURRUMBIN AND TALLEBUDGERA💦
⏰ Update 7am Monday
Properties in Currumbin and Tallebudgera should prepare for flooding as a result of predicted heavy rainfall. This alert has been issued by City of Gold Coast.
Residents should monitor the situation and move to higher ground if necessary.

The Bureau of Meteorology has predicted periods of heavy rain with the biggest falls expected in the Hinterland. This could impact low lying areas of the city with possible localised flooding.

How good does Jewel Gold Coast look at sunset? I've been fortunate enough to be onsite at these buildings photographing the Penthouse and also the pool area. When the weather is stunning it's a great place to relax.

The idea behind this photograph was simply get a nice reflection of the buildings with the sunsetting in the background. I was originally photographing along the coastline heading north but then sun starting showing off behind the buildings. I think it looks great, how about you?

Sunday 1/11/2020 at around 12:15pm. The vehicle that caused the situation fled the scene and has not yet been located. We are seeking anyone who may have dash cam footage of a WHITE UTE WITH A METAL TRAY that was traveling along Steve Irwin Way between 12 and 12:30pm Sunday lunch. The ute was traveling northbound. I have added a map showing the location of the accident.
