Winter is officially here ❄️

After an amazing season, we’ve decided to give our horses a well-deserved winter break while we head off on a working holiday

📆 Away from the first week of July — returning the last week in August
🌼 Back in spring, ready for another great season

Before we go, we’ll also be competing at the Ballarat Ranch Horse Association Inc. show this weekend (5th–8th June) – wish us luck!

🍭 𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗡𝗬 𝗕𝗢𝗬 🍭

Sunny stands at 14hh , he’s grey and lives off the smell of a oily rag
He’s roughly 9 yr old (dentist could tell you better than us)
Told he was a Percheron but he has about as much Percheron in him as Brett’s big toe, more like a overgrown welsh, cob, quarter horse (just look at the photos)

Has been used extensively for our rides as our guides horse and for intermediate/experienced riders
Will walk along all day, super comfy and has a soft mouth
Not for beginners only as he will occasionally shy but won’t shy at a stockwhip being cracked off him or me rattling around in my saddle bag for a snack
If you’re 30 minutes late and you go to catch him , he will make you 3 hours late. If you go to catch him with a smile on your face he will walk up and jam his nose into the halter for you
He could walk to Bruthen Pub blindfolded he’s been that many times
Good to float in straight or angle load, will jump into the crate and truck

Absolutely no buck, bolt, rear, bite ect even after a year off
Gets better the more he’s in work
