After Mansarovar, we started our Kailash Parikrama from Yam Dwar which is 5km from Darchen where we resided. The Parikrama walk takes 3 days with an additional day for Charansparsh. However, chinese government had closed access for Charansparsh. Inspite, we still made close climb and did Poojan. Kailash opened up and provided darshan and blessing at end of poojan.

On our Mount Kailash journey, we continued from Saga to Mansarovar. On the way we also saw Rakshastaal lake next to Mansarovar. We stopped at Mansarovar for those who wish to make offering, tarpanam and meditate. Everyone also filled the clear Mansarovar water in their flask to take back home with them.
At our Mansarovar accommodation, following the mansarovar bath, engaged into Mansarovar Pooja.

Journey continues for Kailash and gives you glimpse for August 2025 tour. On the way to Saga as we continue to ascend in altitude, we stopped for picnic lunch half way. Then later we also stopped at Brahmaputra river for offering and prayers.
Mythology indicates Brahma had a son who took the form of water. Parashurama had an axe stuck to his hand when he commited a great sin. At Brahmakunda, he axed down one side of the mountain releasing water to locals. This got the name Brahmaputra, son of Brahma and the axe got released. According to the Tibetans the water flow is considered extremely holy. Here ageing is slowed down and animals and plants have miraculous powers.

Yatris ready to embark on Kailash journey. For the safety and wellbeing of yatris, prayers were offered to Ganeshji. This is to ensure that Yatris safely return back to Kathmandu and there is no obstacles in the road journey. We circumnavigated the bus three times and broke the coconut infront of the bus.

Before departing for Kailash, we also went to Janakpur. This is where Sita mata spent her years with her family before she got married to Shri Ram and moved to Ayodhya. Places visited were Dhanushadham, Janaki Mandir, Ram-Janki Vivah mandap, Shaligram temple, Ganga arti and much more.....
