Built On Rock (Verbum Dei Sydney)

Built On Rock (Verbum Dei Sydney) our project is to raise funds for a home for the female missionaries/ with a large chapel and some sharing room to be able to have the School of the Word.

We are not financially supported by the diocese. For this reason, we started this project. What is our project about? Our project is to have a Center of Spirituality: a place where the female missionaries can live and also a place where we can hold some activities. For this we need a large chapel and another room for group sharing or talks. Our desire is to welcome people to our home to pray and e

xperience God. For many years, we have been renting and we realize that having our own place is important for our mission. This is consistent with our Mission of Prayer and Ministry of the Word, that is, to introduce people to a living and personal encounter with God. Through this encounter, not only their lives change, but also the lives of those around them, hence having a positive effect in society. Hello everyone! Have to share something with you! The name of our project is "Build on Rock". We have not done any fundraising for our project due to world circumstances. BUT, more importantly, the Lord has helped us "live" the experience of relying on Him who is the Rock. Happy Advent Season!

Hello everyone! Just keeping you updated. Our project of BUILT ON ROCK, is a fundraising project in order to help the female missionaries secure a home, a place too where they can some activities and of course, have more stability as a community. We have had to halt the project temporarily. Nevertheless, we still have a small group who donate regularly to the project. If you would like more information please drop us a line

Hello Everyone, it has been a while since we have informed you of how our project of BUILT ON ROCK is going. Our project has been at a standstill. We moved house and this has implies a big change for the community. It only confirmed to us the urgent need we have of having our own place where we can live and also fulfill our mission of prayer and the ministry of the Word. Thank you for taking interest.
