Show of the season!!! Unbelievable encounter just now on our Express Trip from Circular Quay!

We were joined by two very friendly whales that spent almost an hour mugging the boat! Appearing so close to the us we could barely believe our eyes! They swam straight up to us, circling the boat and taking as good a look at us as we did at them. That was definitely one for the title of best trip of the season. Even our crew were speechless! Thank you whales! 🐋 ❤️

Another beautiful cruise this afternoon, with possibly the calmest conditions all season. The water is like glass and the whales were inquisitive, swimming beside us for a solid half an hour, an occasional change in direction to get a closer look at us before continuing on their way!

A wild and wonderful day on the Tasman Sea today! Our whales put on some huge tail slapping shows for us and some very close encounters with our Adventure Cruise on our smallest but mightiest boat, ‘Totally Wild’.

We loved every second of it and seeing these massive flukes waving in the air up close was pretty special!!

Wow!! 🚀🚀

Just when we thought the midday trip was going to be the best one of the day our late afternoon show kicked off straight away yet again! Two juveniles breaching again and again all the way across the harbour entrance! We had at least an hour with these young whales putting on an acrobatic show! So good!

Our midday cruise got lucky today with some action just two minutes out of the harbour, this little juvenile decided to practice its moves with some great attempted breaches and pec fin waves as we cruised along!

The southern migration is just starting to get underway and we expect the action to keep increasing very soon, we can’t wait to see what we get and hope you can join us!

Seeing this was worth battling the rain today! 🚀🐋

These shots were taken onboard one of our vessels "Totally Wild" - what a show we saw today.
Straight out of the heads, there was a pod of 2 humpback whales heading South that went ballistic at no notice and gave us a few breaches before heading back down towards the Antarctic waters where they'll spend the summer before coming back this way next year.
Hope to catch you out there soon!

A tough day out on the Tasman sea today with some shy whales and bumpy seas!

We did get lucky with a few sightings and an exceptional number of Albatross cruising along the coast! We’re definitely in that mid season lull, with our whales currently enjoying the warmer waters of far North Queensland. The good news is that this can be considered the calm before the storm, when our whales will soon be flooding back down South, with the brand new calves in tow! We can’t say for certain when the numbers will pick back up, so book your tickets now as our guess is that it will start getting busy out there again very very soon!

A cruise filled day out on the ocean today! It was so nice to get back out there after a few days of being stopped by the weather!

The whales were in cruise mode as well, calmly swimming along on their way. We’ve noticed the directional change in the past few days with more whales heading south and we get into the second half of the migration. We also saw a huge pod of dolphins off Manly, one large pod seeming play with one of the young calves that our Express trip had the joy of hanging out with in the early afternoon!

A bit of everything out on the Humpback Highway today!! Our midday cruise received a couple of close passes from a pod of 6 whales tracking North, then the late afternoon found an adult whale with two much smaller individuals, one looked like an inquisitive little calf and potentially another juvenile just hanging around in the shallows at Long Reef!

Another beautiful day on the Humpback Highway!

Unbelievable midday cruise today!!

The one tip with whale watching is to never stop keeping an eye out, because you never know what might happen, and this whale sure proved it today!! Right towards the end of the trip, a solo whale popped up right next to us after over an hour of searching and put on the show of a lifetime for our guests! Head lunging and breaching right next to the boat! Incredible!! 🐋🚀
