Keep our beef industry Australian.

I never post non-business related content but this is an exception.

Recently the Trump administration has put tariffs on our steel and aluminium exports and tariffs on other imported Australian products to the US, consequentially damaging Australian businesses and our economy.

Now US beef through the Alberto’s government decision is allowing US beef into Australia.

I will refuse to buy US imported beef to help support our Australian beef industry and protect our country from bio security risks and support our farmers and jobs.

In place since 2003, the denial of importa of US beef were due to concerns about bovine spongiform encephalopathy, or mad cow disease, which can kill cattle as well as people who eat infected beef.

Help protect our beef and cattle industry and only buy Australian farmed meat.

Or book a charter and eat some fresh fish!

It’s rare I get to fish for myself these days.
Always busy helping clients catch their fish.

I treated myself to a nice 45kg Yellowfin today.
Taking the boys for a run out wide we found some Yellowfin.

Dropping one fish then hooking this one.

Good shows of Yellowfin but the seas weren’t great for trolling.

Sushi time.

Another cracker day..All quality fish today and lots of em!!🐟🎣😃👍🐟🎣

Another day out with SIMS (Sydney Institute of Marine Science).

Our second day of tagging Silver Trevally went very well.
Having 14 GPS tags to fit we had caught the Trevally in as little as 45 minutes.

Giving heaps of time to go snapper fishing for dinner and landing 13 nice Reds in 1 hour.

Silver Trevally Tagging program.
Sydney Institute of Marine Science (SIMS) onboard today for some scientific research on Silver Trevally.

These fish are becoming super rare compared to 20 years ago.

Fitting GPS trackers to this species to better understand their migration habits.

Something different, very interesting and always fun.

Unfortunately we can’t show to much as the fish undergo anesthesia and a tiny bit of surgery, then released unharmed.
