🏔️ On behalf of Visit Colorado, the Linkd Tourism team will be at the upcoming Snow Travel Expo's in Melbourne 17th May and Sydney 24th May.

⛷️ These events are the perfect chance to connect with iconic ski resorts such as Telluride, but also an opportunity to learn more about the plethora of winter activities on offer off-piste like Denver, the gateway city of the state.

🏔️ There's plenty to do at the Colorado stand no matter the age: a kids colouring corner (thank you Visit Denver!) as well as an opportunity to taste beer that is Born in the Rockies and is "as fresh as the mountain air".

🏔️ We love our partners!

🏔️Linkd Tourism staffer Toni Fan went to Aspen Snowmass for the high quality snow and world-renowned F&B, but left talking about the vibe.

🏔️ Between early mornings filled with untouched powder and afternoons with an Aperol Spritz sitting by a campfire, Aspen had an easy balance of adrenaline and downtime. Another Australian visitor mentioned they first came 30 years ago not knowing what to expect and now returns every season with their family.

🏔️ Great views, good energy and a solid reminder that slowing down both in life and at the bottom of a ski slope are equally important.

🪄 Sedona's spiritual scene shines in this Explore story by Louise Goldsbury , who visited one of Arizona’s famous vortexes last summer as part of a Linkd Tourism media famil.

🪄 As part of the itinerary, our client Visit Arizona organised for local vortex expert – and scientist – Pete Sanders to explain the power and beauty of these sites, before taking media through a guided meditation.

🪄 Thanks to the Explore team at ACM for running this great story across their extensive network of print and digital publications, and to Louise for another great angle from her exploration of the amazing state of Arizona.

🧘‍♀️ The FIFA World Cup is just weeks away - but earlier this year, Linkd Tourism hosted a special morning event for Visit Seattle , with the objective of driving sporting travellers to the destination.

🍎 This Media Wellness Morning was designed to promote the sports and wellness creds of the destination, with Olympian Kyah Simon joining, following a partnership activation.

🧘‍♀️Media and trade partners joined for yoga as the run rose over Sydney's sparkling harbour, accompanied by a healthy breakfast.

⚽ Seattle will host six matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup at Lumen Field between June 15 and July 6, 2026.

😍 Montauk, New York

A great piece by Roxanne Andrews in Escape this week on what to eat, see and do in Montauk, the beachfront village at the tip of Long Island that draws New Yorkers every summer and is well worth the detour for Australians visiting NYC.

The shortlist:
1️⃣ Eat: Harvest on Fort Pond for Italian-inspired meals using local produce, Inlet Seafood for ultra-fresh catches co-owned by local fishermen, and a lobster roll at The Montauket while the sun goes down over Gardiners Island.
2️⃣ Stay: The Surf Lodge, 20 waterfront rooms with a good restaurant, live music and a scene worth watching.
3️⃣ Beach: Ditch Plains for surfers, Main Beach for families.
4️⃣ See: Montauk Point Lighthouse for 360-degree views from the tip of Long Island, and Shadmoor State Park for hiking and birdwatching.
5️⃣ Shop: Gosman's Dock for nautical goods and keepsakes, plus the Thursday farmers market running May to October.

About 3 hours from New York City by car. Take me there, stat!
