To our valued customers,

It is with regret that we have decided to temporarily cease self drive hires whilst we review this part of our operations. We are continuing with, and expanding our commercial operations which is (non-fishing) hire with a Coxswain.

We will provide an update at the completion of our review.

A fair bit of work to be done by the currents in order for a 2021 SBT run. The first shot is a historical July 2017 SST where large amounts of SBT held in the warm eddy off Eden. This eddy held together and the fish pretty much stayed with it for a while. We were saved by a late run in September 2017 when the cool eddy wide off Sydney broke in and brought good amounts of fish. This year the fish are doing the same thing down south. Large amounts of SBT in the warm eddy SE of Eden. Question is will this eddy break up? Will this migration eventually come through the back entrance off Sydney? Too early to tell but certainly not looking the best.

Thanks to Chris Amy at South Sydney Marine for the re-power. This brand new 250hp Suzuki is super quiet, smooth and more fuel efficient then the last one which served us very well. As the water continues to clear up and the current slows down hopefully the Dolphin Fish make another appearance. A few Kings are kicking around the deeper reefs up to 90cm.
