I’ve had the best birthday on the road with my Gourmet Safaris group in Bosa, Sardinia.. a seafood lunch right by the sea, a morning spent exploring the colourful alleyways and an impromptu visit to local home - thanks Fulvio; afternoon visit to two great artists and evening drinks and such a gorgeous card and present from the group.
It’s hard being away from home for my birthday and my grandaughter’s birthdays .. but wow was I made to feel special.

A one hour ferry takes us from Sardinia to Corsica..to Bonifacio, the buildings hanging on the cliff and our hotel ticked behind the ramparts and little round turret.. the change in islands in the tube space of time is like the best magic carpet and sailing late in the afternoon in the warm sunshine is my favourite time to travel.
Designing this trip has been joy and swing our guests love and appreciate each experience is joy.

Feeling happy to read this glowing feedback from our just finished Sardinia and Corsica Safari .. (we are doing 2 back to back this year)

“We’ve just completed our second International Gourmet Safari – this time to Sardinia and Corsica, and it was every bit as good as our Sicily/Malta adventure last year. Travelling with Maeve is like traveling with your smart, well-connected, super organised best friend. She is generous in sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm for the food and culture of our destinations, and somehow manages to build a genuine connection with every guest. Our hotels were varied and individual, the buses were excellent and spacious (big shout out to Tommy our incredible driver), and of course every meal was an adventure. We got insights into the lives and food cultures of the regions, whether it be simple agroturismo farm meal or sitting on the terrace of a 5 star hotel with a view of the harbour. We have wonderful memories to treasure and hope we can travel with Maeve again in the future. “A & D
