Depending on demand, it can sometimes be cheaper to
travel from Cairns down to Sydney/Melbourne instead
of the other way around 👀 Less people fly into Cairns,
which can mean better campervan prices and
relocation deals.

Tips/Ideas for on the road 💙

Turn spotting Australia’s “Big Things” into a bucket list
item 🍍🥭 From the Big Mango in Bowen to giant
prawns, bananas and koalas, there are oversized
landmarks all over the country worth pulling over for.

Beach hopping is basically mandatory 🏝️ The East
Coast is home to hundreds of incredible beaches, from
the Whitsundays and Byron Bay to hidden coastal
gems along the way. Your biggest problem will be
choosing your favourite.

Distances are BIG. What looks close on the map can
easily be a full day of driving, so don’t try to rush the
