If you are local to the area, come down and cool off for a free family fun day from 9am. Take a look at this video, where some Casino Amateur Swimming Club members got an early look at the amazing new facility.

**PROJECT STATUS UPDATE**
Gerringong Library and Museum (GLaM) is taking shape, with the building work expected to be finished at the end of July. This project was featured in "The Bugle" paper last month. One of our valued team members was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. He however received some good news last week that it has not spread so he is in a very good position to make a full recovery.

Obviously the C word is a scary one and we all are behind him in his battle. In an effort to support him and to help raise money and awareness for prostate cancer I have started a Movember.

Momentum Built is thrilled to have been awarded the construction of a new Gerringong Library and Museum (GLaM) incorporating the historic School of Arts on Blackwood Street, Gerringong for Kiama Municipal Council.

The $3.2 million project involves constructing a brand-new library behind the School of Arts, which is being restored and converted to house the museum.

The restored School of Arts building will house the collection of the Gerringong and District Historical Society.

The library wing will provide flexible spaces for programs and events such as story time, author talks and book group meetings.

The library and museum buildings will share a foyer and gallery space, as well as meeting rooms, kitchen and amenities.

These shared areas have been designed to host community activities both during and after hours.

The School of Arts will be restored with roof sheeting and galvanised wall cladding to be replaced and repaired.

The library will use corrugated steel wall, timber cladding and corrugated steel roofing.

The GLaM will include decking and paving, with landscaping of trees and shrubbery.

The car park will include the existing 17 off-street spaces and an additional 20 spaces at the back of the building.

The building and car park will all be fully accessible. The facility will also use photovoltaics for its power.

Adding onto the extensive scope we are already undertaking on this landmark site, the works consist of a new concrete lookout platform including concrete bench seating areas and new sandstone structure around landscape areas. It also includes the construction of new access road and concrete footpaths on the southern side of the surf club. Being a shire based company Momentum Built is extremely proud to be the builder on Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club.

This exciting project consists of the construction and refurbishment of the existing 3 level Surf Life Saving Club. The scope of works include but not limited to;

New boat, ski, board storage areas, male and female amenities and gym on the ground floor; Constitutions of new lounge, bar, terrace, kitchen, toilet and function room on level 1; Construction of new club entry, office space, lift lobby and mezzanine level on level 2; and Heritage conservation of the original main building.

Momentum Built is proud to announce our recent 2017 MBA Excellence in Construction Award for Best Private School Building $6M category for Oran Park Anglican College Stage 3 project.

We are currently working on a number of educational and commercial projects including Oran Park Anglican College Stage 4, Bellfield College Rossmore and BMW Sylvania, all of which have the potential to be award winning projects. With the release of the BMW X3 model over the weekend BMW Sylvania had a sand sculpture made of the vehicle in front of their new vehicle showroom which is due for completion mid next year. Get down and see Anthony and Phil for a look at the real thing.
