Terra Nova Expeditions' inaugural season later this year was never in doubt of going ahead as planned, despite issues around ship access, according to CEO and founder Greg Carter.

Speaking with Travel Daily following news of the line swapping St Helena for Terra Nova Adventurer, Carter said the business was working on contingency plans and monitoring updates behind the scenes for months.

Virgin Australia (VA) has taken out the Travel and Tourism category at the Roy Morgan Trusted Brand Awards for 2026 for the fourth year running.

One of 22 winning brands, VA secured the consumer trust recognition alongside major brands such as the NRMA, Bunnings Warehouse and The Salvation Army.

These travel trade reps from Australia and New Zealand were recently welcomed by Holland America Line (HAL) on an immersive Alaska famil.
