The foundation of Maama’s Centre is finally complete! ❤️🙏🏾

Yesterday, we poured the slab, and I honestly still cannot believe how much cement, sand, stones and soil have gone into bringing this dream to life. Watching truck after truck and bag after bag of materials being consumed really made me realise just how massive this project is.
What started as a dream is slowly becoming something real. 🥹

The foundation is now beneath the ground, holding not only this building but also the dreams, prayers, love and support of everyone who has believed in Maama’s Centre.

I am incredibly grateful to every person who has supported this journey in one way or another. Every donation, every share, every encouraging message and every bit of support has helped us reach this moment.

The foundation is complete. The slab has been poured. And Maama’s Centre is rising. ❤️
There is still a long journey ahead, but today we pause to celebrate this incredible milestone.

Just quick update on the progress of Maama's Centre.

Today has been another exciting step forward. The stones have been prepared, all the mesh has now been laid, and we are getting everything ready for the next big stage — pouring the slab!

Seeing the project come together step by step is honestly incredible.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported Maama's Centre, whether through donations, encouragement, sharing our journey, or simply believing in this project. Every bit of support is helping us get closer to creating something that will make a difference in the community.

Today, we placed the Maama's Centre Time Capsule into the foundation. ❤️

Every message, blessing, prayer, and hope that was placed inside is now sealed forever beneath this building. Your love is no longer just a memory—it has become part of the very foundation of Maama's Centre.

Years from now, when these walls continue to serve our community, your support will still be there, holding this dream together.

🔥🔥Today is one of those days I've been dreaming about for a long time. 🎉

The building materials are finally on site, and the foundation work has begun for Maama's Community & Cultural Centre. 🇺🇬

As I watch the workers lay the foundation, I can't help but think of my mum, whose love and compassion inspired this vision. What was once just an idea is now becoming something real.
This is more than a building. It will be a place of hope, learning, empowerment, and opportunity for generations to come.

To everyone who has donated, attended a fundraiser, shared our story, prayed for us, or simply believed in this dream—thank you. You are helping build this foundation, too.

We're just getting started, but today we celebrate this beautiful milestone.

Together, we are building hope, one brick at a time.

Back to gorilla🦍 trekking with the group. This is my third time. Each time it's a mind blowing experience. Highly recommend Gorilla Trekking once in a lifetime experience. If you ever want to trek gorilla. Daventure Tours is at service😊
