🌸 Happy Mother’s Day! 🌸

In this season, Sun Moon Lake is full of colour, fun, and unforgettable moments — golden daylilies and purple verbena in bloom, peaceful SUP paddling across the lake, a beautiful meal surrounded by nature… and evenings beneath glowing fireflies 🌿🛶🌙

Sometimes the best gift is simply spending time together in a place this beautiful ✨

Hidden deep in the mountains of Hsinchu lies Qalang Smangus — a remote Indigenous village wrapped in ancient forest and mist 🌿✨

They call it “The Tribe of God”… not for religion, but because everything here feels quietly protected by nature itself.

Giant cypress trees, slow mountain air, and endless green silence—this is where you come to disconnect, and simply breathe 🌄

Getting here takes effort… but that’s exactly what makes it unforgettable.

Would you travel this far for a place like this? 👀

🌉 𝐀 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐚𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞!

The Danjiang Bridge officially opens on 12 May 2026, connecting Tamsui in New Taipei with a striking new piece of modern architecture over the river ✨

As one of Zaha Hadid’s final major infrastructure projects, the bridge features a bold, futuristic silhouette that transforms the riverside skyline 🏗️

It also makes visiting Tamsui even easier. And with its design responding to changing light and the famous Tamsui sunsets, the bridge reveals a different kind of beauty throughout the day—especially as the sun slowly sets along its structure 🌅

🦪 A little seafood secret from Taiwan… it’s oyster season!

Right now is the best time to enjoy Taiwan’s oysters—especially from Dongshi, Chiayi, where clean, nutrient-rich waters produce some of the freshest oysters on the island 🌊

Many are farmed using a floating raft system, where oysters grow suspended beneath bamboo rafts and drift with the tides—helping them develop a plump, sweet, creamy texture 🦪✨ (often called “milk from the sea”)

In Taiwan, oysters are usually enjoyed in hot dishes like oyster omelettes, soups, or stir-fried local favourites—bringing out their natural sweetness rather than serving them raw 🍳

From now through late summer, this is peak season—so if you’re exploring Taiwan’s southwest coast, don’t miss it!

🌊 Not quite your typical Taiwan itinerary…

A hundred-year-old temple, coastal windmills,
hands-on crafts, and a warm hotpot by the shore—
this is Miaoli in a day.

🌏 Earth Day is a reminder that the best journeys don’t just take us somewhere new — they help us reconnect with nature.

In Taiwan, nature is never far away.

🚴 Cycle along the coast in Taitung, with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean
🚆 Take a scenic rail journey through Changhua
🏕️ Camp beneath the stars in the Central Mountain Range
♨️ Or slow down with a soothing hot spring along the Crown Coast

From coastlines to mountains, Taiwan makes it easy to travel more consciously, and reconnect with what matters.

This Earth Day, where would nature take you? 💚

20/04/2026

🚆 The best way to explore Taitung? By rail!

Watch the ocean stretch endlessly on one side 🌊 and mountains rise on the other ⛰️ Every moment feels like a moving postcard.

Which view do you love more—sea or mountains? 👀
