Still buzzing from the most incredible few days at ODMA 🥂to be honest I have only just come up for air!

Shameless self promotion today with some selfies of a crazy glasses lady!!

Love doing this job, spending time with my team, my business partner Ray and most importantly you guys out there working hard with your clients, making sure they make the best choices with their eyewear.
It’s been a tough week for us at ProOptics and our l.a.Eyeworks customers losing our Queen G*i Gherardi but I was reminded today from her team in LA that we need to Live wide and keep fishing just as she did!
It only seems fitting then that today I received my 2 new frames from l.a.Eyeworks CORT and AMARO. Perfect lenses by .au and dispensed by the amazing crew 💥🔥🥰
I will be holding on to my collection of a little tighter now and living my life with my Optical family a whole lot wider ❤️

The world is a little less shiny now ❤️ sending love and strength to all our friends at l.a.Eyeworks ❤️

It is with heavy hearts we announce that G*i Gherardi passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 16th, in Los Angeles, with her life partner of 50 years, Rhonda Saboff, and her sister, Heather Gherardi, by her side.

G*i brought immeasurable gifts to this world, and she shared them generously with all of us. The sparkling trails of inspiring optimism, spontaneous love, and exuberant color she left wherever she went are now ours to follow and treasure.

G*i was always delighted to be on the path of discovery, whether it was through her design work, her abiding love and reverence for artists and musicians, or the wide, inviting table she and Barbara McReynolds set for the wide world with l.a.Eyeworks.

G*i’s unique, indelible, and unforgettable manifestation of herself was a mirror in which each of us could find permission to reveal new layers of our own selves — and the bravery to be fearless in doing so. She would want nothing more than for each of us to continue acting upon that encouragement.

Keep Fishing. Love One Another.

Michael and I spent a great few days surrounded by some of the superstars of the Optical industry learning and sharing and having a great time!
