From 2025 for a limited period of time you can purchase an Annual Pass that entitles you and a second passenger to book unlimited voyages for 12 months in a Verandah room with priority boarding, complimentary laundry, unlimited premium Wifi and a $100 Bar Tab per voyage. The pass holder can change guest 2 for different voyages while travelling in their room.

Price is USD$120,000 what a great offer for twin share verandah, food, internet, drinks allowance and includes 2 specialty coffees per day.

CRUISING'S BACK BABY....

Miami was recently de-throned as the busiest cruise port in America by Port Canaveral but it's fighting back with 67,594 passengers in 1 day during April on 8 ships. That's a huge day, previous record was 58,984 in one day.

The ship we are on has a propulsion problem so we can only cruise at about 15kts instead of the 22kts it usually cruises at. They have had to cancel our stops in Noumea (nobody cares)and Mystery island. So these will be sea days now so they can get us back to Sydney by 23rd Dec.

As it's a mechanical issue they are refunding 50% of the cruise fare as onboard credit and whatever is left at the end will be refunded and we have also received a future cruise credit to the value of 25% of this fare for our next cruise.

A pretty good outcome.

Great move by Holland America Line (HAL) and the Netherlands. What better way to care for the refugees than a venue with safe accomodation, food and social interaction. I know it's a small number in the grand scheme of things but they will be cared for well.

Great to see the cruise industry getting involved in a way they can. Cruise ships are often used to move humanitarian assistance after natural disasters.
