First day of Winter ❄️ 😊 and what a beautiful day it was 😊Calm seas and sunshine 🌞
On our morning cruise we found a juvenile humpback just off the Gap who treated us to a lovely breach πŸš€ We then made our way 4 miles out and came across a few different pods of whales all making their way north. We were also joined by a huge pod of dolphins which was wonderful to see. 🐬🐬🐬

Then in the afternoon we travelled out to Mona Vale and located a beautiful big humpback who spent a good amount of time on the surface, this whale was beautiful to watch in the afternoon light πŸ‹

This morning we saw a few different pods of whales who were all cruising steadily north. We tracked along with two of these relaxed whales from Manly to Longreef. We also spotted a few pods of dolphins and a baby hammerhead shark.

In the afternoon we found two large humpbacks out wide off Manly. These beauties weren’t in any hurry and were lovely to watch. πŸ‹πŸ‹πŸ’™πŸ’™

Today we finally had some sunshine 🌞 πŸ™ŒπŸŒž
It was a beautiful day out on the ocean. We traveled out about 4 miles where we came across a single humpback who surfaced frequently. It was wonderful to watch this graceful whale calmly make its way north. There were plenty of seabirds flying about and we also had a brief sighting of a shark with its dorsal fin breaking the surface. πŸ‹πŸ¦ˆπŸ’™

Another grey day in Sydney but the rain didn’t dampen our spirits. πŸŒ§οΈπŸ‹πŸš€πŸ’™ We were very lucky to find a whale at the entrance of the Harbour and followed it out the Heads. When we reached Manly Beach this amazing whale surprised us with a beautiful big breach. It then continued to breach non stop for at least 45 minutes, delighting us with an awesome acrobatic display πŸš€πŸ™ŒπŸš€πŸ™ŒπŸš€πŸ™ŒπŸš€

This morning we didn’t have to travel far before we found a pod of three humpbacks making their way north. They spent a lot of time up on the surface giving us plenty of opportunity to watch these amazing animals. All of a sudden one of the whales launched itself out of the water doing a spectacular breach, showing off its beautiful black belly.
We continued to enjoy watching them swimming along and just before we were about to depart another of the trio treated us to three fabulous breaches creating great excitement for all on board. πŸš€πŸš€πŸš€

Then this afternoon we were again treated to an impressive breaching display when the two whales we were following erupted out of the water. Simply incredible to see a whale launch clean out of the water πŸš€πŸ‹πŸ€©

This morning despite our best efforts the we did not find any whales. This afternoon we made our way north towards Longreef where we spotted a few blows but the whale remained elusive beneath the surface. We then tracked back south and came across a lovely juvenile humpback who surfaced frequently as it swam through the swell.
