Sunday School with the whales was very educational and so much funπŸ€Έβ€β™€οΈπŸ€ΈSo so many whales on all cruises today, the difficulty was deciding which humpbacks to track a bit of a juggling act 🀹Every cruise we made the best choices πŸ‹πŸ‹

Throughout the day we witnessed just about every humpback trick in the book, Pec slapping, head lunging, tail throwing and the ultimate spectacle, the breachπŸš€We ended the day with an absolute stunning sunset and managed to capture the pinnacle of whale watching the incredible, and elusive, sunset breach. This breach was perfectly narrated by captain Simon and wonderfully captured by our onboard photographerπŸ‘ŒCheck the movie in one of our stories by one of our dedicated regulars Neha, it’s so good πŸ˜€

Solstice Saturday οΏΌ- Winter Wonderland πŸ‹

πŸ‹ Cruise1 - Early morning
No sooner had Bubbles entered the Tasman Sea we were spoilt for choice humpback blows in all directions. We opted to track our own whales and witnessed some Whaley cool breaches, tail slapping and tail throws and ended the cruise with a lively competition pod πŸ˜€

πŸ‹Cruise2 - Midday
Bubbles headed out to track another competition pod, so so many whale out here today this pod was a little like a whale version of a bucks party πŸŽ‰

πŸ‹Cruise3 - Sunset
More groups of boy whales on the chase, this group led Bubbles on a exciting run all the way to long reef πŸ‹πŸ‹πŸ‹ We ended another exhilarating day whale watching as Sydney city was swallowed by another beautiful sunset πŸŒ…

❗️Be quick we still have a few seat left on tomorrow's sunset cruise, our favourite time on the water

The Sydney humpback highway is officially fully congested πŸ‹πŸ‹πŸ‹πŸ‹πŸ‹πŸ‹πŸ‹πŸ‹πŸ‹πŸ‹πŸ‹

As soon as we left the Sydney heads on the morning trip we picked up of a pod of humpback that guided Bubbles along North Head with one of the pod treating the cruise to an explosive full body breachπŸš€The pod escorted us to the end of Manly beach displaying beautiful humps, pecs and tails as they made their way north πŸ‹πŸ‹

The afternoon cruise started with a youngster playing roll over tail throws while it’s two companions tolerated the disturbance with the humpback equivalent of rolling their eyesπŸ™„Bubbles then changed her plan after noticing some pretty cool breaches further out to sea πŸ‹πŸ‹ On approach they continued their splashenanigans treating everyone onboard to some very impressive Humpbackrobatics πŸ€Έβ€β™€οΈπŸ€ΈπŸ€Έβ€β™‚οΈ

The sparkling winters days continue with perfect calm ocean conditionsβ˜€οΈSo many pods to choose from on both cruises today with blows and splashes in every direction it's whaley soupy out there🐳

Bubbles didn’t travel too far on the morning cruise to catch up with a really taily throwy and taily splashy pod stirring up the calm ocean πŸ˜€ As we all left the Sydney heads on our second cruise the crew soon spotted a breaching whale in the distance just off Bondi Beach, before we arrived a single juvenile humpback, close to the cliffs under Macquarie light house, stopped us in our tracks breaching and eye balling πŸ‘€ on its way to the heads πŸ‹πŸ€Έβ€β™€οΈπŸ‹ (check out image 3 & 5) Bubbles then headed further out to sea to investigate more splashy activity before we wrapped up another incredible day on the ocean πŸŒŠπŸ‹

Two beautiful cruises on the Tasman sea as the wonderful winter weather continues β˜€οΈ show casing this incredible migration πŸ‹ We had a massive mugging during the first cruise of the day keeping everyone onboard the Bubble on their toes πŸ˜€ A single humpback captivated passengers and crew circling the boat multiple times giving everyone onboard Bubbles front row seats to the show.

We had multiple pods to choose from on our second cruise of the day initially tracking a pod of three πŸ‹πŸ‹πŸ‹ We then changed plan when a second pod off three whales caught our attention with a random breach followed by a head lunge on approach. The trio settling into short and regular β€œUP” times with some fluke action and a few rolling tail throws. Such a magic day out on the ocean πŸ’™πŸ©΅

Super calm and glassy conditions on the Tasman all our passengers witnessed an absolute cracker of a Sydney winters day β˜€οΈ with some cracking whale activity on both cruises πŸ‹πŸ‹ Everywhere we looked we could see groups of whales making their way to the North. We lost count of how many whales we saw today it certainly looks like the humpback highway is getting a little congested :πŸ˜€

An exciting start to the day as USS America (LHA-6) was welcomed to SydneyπŸ›Ά Then on to our Whale watching πŸ˜€ Humpbacks on all three cruises today all enjoying the calmer weather after a couple of days of southerly’s. The morning cruise, Bubbles initially tracked a single shy whale, so we moved a little further out to sea to say hello a more friendly duo πŸ‹πŸ‹Bubbles headed to Manly on the midday trip to catch up with a new pair heading North, then moving further to the east tracking a duo that met up with another three mates, seven whales in total for the cruise🀸We ended the day locating Whales just outside the heads that invited us to Manly showing us a few tricks and a beautiful sunset πŸŒ…We estimated seeing over 20 whales for the day, including distant breaching, also huge numbers of albatross chasing rainbows 🌈🌈 It’s Whale soup πŸ‹πŸ₯«out there at the moment and will only get soupier in the coming daysπŸ‹πŸ‹πŸ‹πŸ‹πŸ‹

The 10am cruise started with a trip to Manly with a pod of tricky whales playing hide and seek πŸ€·πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ We then headed out to sea after the skipper spotted a single splashy whale that entertained all on board Bubbles for the remainder of the cruise, making a perfect birthday present to three of our whale watching customersπŸ‹πŸ‹πŸ‹ The afternoon adventure was wonderfully wavy as we headed out in the gentle southerly swell. The team caught up with a humpback duo practising their surfing skills πŸ„β€β™€οΈπŸ„ We ended the day with an epic rainbow 🌈 as the whales surfed their way to the north πŸ˜€
