Bharatanatyam is a beautiful dance form that is very technical and takes years of practice for an artist to perform in front of an audience.

Watching wildlife in their natural surroundings is mesmerising and educational too. These photos may be a bit hazy as they were taken on my iPhone. My excitement was palpable and it’s a dream come true to experience something like this. When a lion looks at you, you feel very privileged to share this planet with such a magnificent creature. Nairobi , Kenya is a bustling city with lots of history. A walking tour with a tour guide gave us a good insight into the CBD, parliament buildings and university. We visited the Sheldrick elephant orphanage and the Giraffe centre. The Giraffe centre housed the Rothschild giraffes, which are released into Lake Nakuru National park. One of the highlights was also the visit to Karen Blixens museum, and I saw the original home and the set for the movie- Out of Africa.
