And just like that… our journey comes to an end 🇬🇷✨

Our final day with Trafalgar… and what a way to finish.

From the breathtaking beauty of Delphi — standing high above the valley, surrounded by mountains and history — to the incredible stories within the museum… it’s been a day of reflection, awe, and gratitude.

Driving back to Athens through Arachova, watching the landscape roll by, you can’t help but think about everything we’ve experienced over these past days…

The places we’ve seen…
The stories we’ve learned…
The moments that have taken our breath away…

But more than anything — it’s the people 🤍

The friendships formed, the laughs shared on the coach, the conversations, the little moments in between… these are the memories that stay with you long after the trip ends.

A huge heartfelt thank you to our incredible Travel Director Nikos — your knowledge, passion, and love for your country has brought every destination to life in the most beautiful way.

And tonight… our farewell dinner in Athens.
Eating, drinking, dancing, celebrating… and soaking in every last moment together.

There’s something so special about travelling like this —
you arrive as strangers, and leave as friends.

Greece… you have my heart 🤍

And this… this is exactly the kind of travel I love creating for my clients.

Can we just take a moment for the FOOD in Greece… 🇬🇷🤍

Honestly… I knew it would be good, but I didn’t expect it to feel like this.

Every meal has been more than just food — it’s been an experience. Shared tables, laughter, stories, and dishes that are simple, fresh, and full of flavour.

The Greek salad… OMG. 🍅🥒🫒
So fresh, so vibrant, with that creamy feta that just melts — nothing like what we get at home.

Moussaka… rich, comforting, layers of flavour that feel like a warm hug.
Souvlaki… perfectly grilled, juicy, and full of that smoky goodness.
Eggplant dishes… soft, flavourful, and cooked with so much love.
Stuffed tomatoes… wholesome, traditional, and just beautiful.

And then… the sweets 🤍
Baklava, creamy desserts, little indulgent bites that you just can’t say no to (and honestly… why would you? 😍)

Paired with local wine, warm hospitality, and that unmistakable Greek way of bringing people together…

You realise it’s not just about what’s on the plate —
it’s about the feeling around the table.

This is Greece.
Simple. Generous. Heartfelt.

And I am loving every single moment of it ✨

Today was one of those days where you just sit back, look around, and feel so incredibly grateful… 🇬🇷✨

We journeyed through the mountains of Greece, winding our way to Delphi — a place filled with history, mystery, and stories that go back thousands of years. There’s something very special about being surrounded by landscapes that have seen so much of the world unfold.

Along the way, we stopped in the cutest little seaside town, Galaxidi… and waiting for us was coffee, thoughtfully ordered ahead by our beautiful Travel Director, Nikos 🤍
It’s those little touches that make everything feel so personal.

Driving through Achaia, with endless olive groves and rich, fertile land stretching as far as the eye can see… you really start to understand the heart of Greece — simple, authentic, and deeply connected to the land.

And then this evening… a truly special experience.
A Greek culinary dinner with the Karlisti family — warm, welcoming, and full of love. Home-cooked food, shared stories, laughter… the kind of night you don’t forget.

Nikos, our incredible Trafalgar Tours Travel Director, brings every place to life with his passion, knowledge, and storytelling. It’s not just travel… it’s connection.

Ending the day feeling so grateful…

Today was one of those moments that truly stops you in your tracks… 🇬🇷✨

Walking through Ancient Olympia — the birthplace of the Olympic Games — felt incredibly special.

It’s not just about sport… it’s about history, belief, and the stories that shaped the world we know today.

Standing where athletes once competed to honour Zeus, surrounded by statues that have stood for thousands of years… you can actually feel the energy of this place.

From the delicate beauty of Hermes holding baby Dionysus, to the powerful presence of Nike, the goddess of victory — every piece tells a story of strength, humanity, and connection.

Even the broken statues… they speak.
Of time, of resilience, of a world long before ours.

And yes… we couldn’t resist a little fun too 🤭
Re-enacting a race on the original athletics field where it all began — safe to say the competitive spirit is still alive and well! 🏃‍♀️✨

After soaking in all that history, we wandered into Olympia town for lunch — simple, beautiful, and full of that warm Greek hospitality that just makes you feel at home 🤍

Days like this remind me why I do what I do…
Travel isn’t just about seeing places — it’s about feeling them.
