Love this one. Still a great pool, just a few more buildings around it than there were in the 50s! Visit Canberra

In 1956, Canberra Olympic Swimming Pool was considered one of the finest in the Southern Hemisphere, with its three separate pools — a standard pool of Olympic dimensions, 55 yard (50 metre) by 20 yard (18 metre), a 16 feet (4.9 metre) deep diving pool, which was also used for water polo and a shallow pool for small children.
