On-site camping at the Bathurst 1000 sold out months ago. That is not the end of your race week.

A campervan changes the question from "is there a campsite left at the Mount" to "is there a powered site anywhere within half an hour of Bathurst," and the answer to that is still yes if you move now. Pick up in Sydney, three hours up the Great Western Highway, and your accommodation travels with you all weekend.

Two things people get wrong: they book the van and forget the powered site, which fills next, and they bring a summer setup to a mountain where October nights get genuinely cold. Book tickets, then van, then site, and choose heating over aesthetics.
