Sehol Island and Bobong! Crystal blue waters and a spectacular white sand beach greeted us as we dropped anchor at Seho Island. Rich corals and abundant sea life (including a sea snake!) kept us fixated for hours. In the afternoon we had the immense pleasure of visiting Bobong- a community who welcomed us with such open arms and showed us around their beautiful home with boundless enthusiasm. We were treated to warm welcome ceremonies, market visits and got a really unique insight into life on this remote island. Absolutely fascinating day of exploration!

Farewell Phillipines, Hello Indonesia! Yesterday we ventured into Tangkoko Nature Reserve- set in the northern reaches of Sulawesi. One of the oldest nature reserves in Indonesia, it is home to an abundance of flora and fauna- including the Tarsiers, Cuscus, and the celebes crested macaques. We were fortunate to be led by incredibly knowledgeable local guides on an extensive walk - and had the privilege of spotting some incredible wildlife. An afternoon spent snorkelling pristine coral reef was the perfect cap off to the day!

Reporting in from Heritage Expeditions! I have just jumped onboard a rather exciting expedition through the Phillipines, Indonesia and down into Darwin! We embarked from the island of Bohol yesterday with an action packed first day- replete with climbing to the top of the Chocolate Hills, searching for (and finding!) Tarsiers and spending hours snorkelling and marvelling at the bountiful beauty of Balicasag Island. Very excited to see what the next 9 days bring!
