OUTBACK JACK 2026 - ITS STILL ON!

NEW ROUTE- FORGET Birdsville. Time to go to Coober Pedy!

Mother Nature decided to dump some rain on Birdsville, but a bit of water isn't stopping us. The tour is 100% STILL ON, and frankly, the detour we’ve locked in might just steal the show.

We are keeping the first few days exactly as planned, but from Marree onwards, we are pivoting to bring you an absolute cracker of an Outback adventure through Coober Pedy, the Oodnadatta Track, and Roxby Downs.

Here is how the fresh, updated 2026 itinerary looks:

The Classics (Unchanged):

Day 1 (17th July): Arrival in Broken Hill

Day 2 (18th July): Broken Hill to Hawker

Day 3 (19th July): Hawker to Marree

The Epic New Detour:

Day 4 (20th July): Marree to Coober Pedy (Riding the legendary Oodnadatta Track!)

Day 5 (21st July): Coober Pedy Rest Day (Explore the underground opal capital)

Day 6 (22nd July): Coober Pedy to Roxby Downs (Cruising past Woomera’s space history)

Day 7 (23rd July): Roxby Downs to Hawker

Day 8 (24th July): Hawker to Broken Hill

The Oodnadatta Track: An absolute bucket-list dirt track for any real rider. Pure red dust and classic Outback freedom.

Coober Pedy: A sci-fi landscape where the locals live underground. Our rest day here is going to be unforgettable.

Woomera & Roxby: You'll get to ride right past some of Australia's coolest, top-secret aviation and space history.

The Birdsville mud might have closed one door, but it just opened up an incredible stretch of the true South Australian Outback.

Did you know the owner of Aussie Bike or Hike — Alex Cudlin — was once a World Championship motorcycle racer?

This is Alex explaining the legendary Oschersleben Circuit in Germany while racing in Europe.

Back then, Alex was riding the #1 Team Suzuki GSX-R1000 at the highest level of international endurance racing.

Fast forward to today, and you’ll now find him leading motorcycle adventures across Australia and around the world with Aussie Bike or Hike.

What a weekend that was.

The Great Divide absolutely delivered again.

Unreal riding, awesome crew, perfect conditions and some of the best dirt roads Australia has to offer. Barrington Tops was magic, the bikes ran well and the laughs around the pub Saturday night were just as good as the riding itself.

Big thanks to everyone who came along and made it such a great trip. We genuinely appreciate the support and love seeing riders from all different backgrounds come together for a weekend like this.
