Topbike Tours In 2026 we are running tours in Europe and Japan, and have places available on Tuscany & Tour de France Climbs, come join us!

NB 2026 Giro itinerary coming soon. David Olle (Topbike Founder & CEO) has a long connection with FNQ, since he spent most of the 80’s working out of Cairns in the Northern Prawn Fishery, covering the east coast, Torres Straits and the Gulf of Carpentaria. In the early 2000’s he raced the Crocodile Trophy, twice (once against a very young Adam Hansen), traversing many of the roads we use in our up

coming tours. Topbike has developed a strong bond with Atherton (our base for 2021), as many of the locals have come on tour to Europe, over the past 15 years. We’ve visited FNQ most every year since the 'Athertonians' first euro foray. Topbike has also sponsored a junior development program with the Atherton cycling club.

Hello everyone,
Just a quick note, re some 2026 tours.
I know you’re all sitting around with the post-christmas blues, a big pile of cash blocking your view of the telly, and you’re all wondering what’s next?

Well, we do have some places available, perfect for escaping the upcoming ‘sure to be brutal’ southern winter.
Hallelujah.
All tours guaranteed to be equal to, or better than, riding up Cape York during Covid (who could forget that!)

First up is our Tour of Tuscany, May 13-20. There’s four people on it, so it’s definitely running. And if I get a couple more, Annabelle will lead the tour, with me helping out. Guaranteed to be a real hoot.

Next is our French Alps, July 6-13, with one location at the base of Alpe d’Huez. Unpack just the once. Climb mountains every day. Relax under Pauline’s willow tree every hot afternoon. Already past min numbers, will be an exhausting & rewarding week. Emma, Betty and myself on staff.

And the GIRO! May 25 – June 1. Jamie and Annabelle leading this one, this tour is always a cracker and is always better than the TdF – live it, ride it, love it, get on it.

Topbike, 29th year, you’ll never ride alone, family owned forever, etc, etc!

Hello everyone,
We have a few places available on a couple of tours for next year, Tour of Tuscany - May 13-20 - This tour is for Lycra cyclist who like to ‘meander’ and take in the scenery. The rides average 70 – 90ks per day and less than 1000m vertical.

French Alps - July 6-13 - Get climbing in the heart of the French Alps. Ride a double Alpe d’Huez before the pro’s do in the 2026 TdF. Galibier, Telegraphe, Glandon et al, also available for doubles, if that is your thing :)

I know Christmas is upon us, but if you lock a tour in now, you'll be grinning all the way to pick up in Tuscany in May, or the Alps in July. www.topbike.com.au or PM for more info.

Watching ‘Le Tour’ with good coffee We have long subscribed to the idea that the best way to see the Tour de France is in front of a Telly, in an Italian bar. Then you are ‘in the Time Zone’ to watch the action. A pre ‘Le Tour’ morning ride and most importantly great coffee, rather tha...
