This recognition comes on the back of significant investment in Tennant Creek's tourism future:

✅ A $1.2 million upgrade to the centre, delivered in partnership with McMahon Services, bringing modern facilities and an even better visitor experience
✅ A further $500,000 for Tourism Central Australia to deliver the Battery Hill Interpretation Project

The revitalised Visitor Information Centre showcases the region's rich gold rush history and creates new opportunities for Tennant Creek, including the global spotlight heading our way for the 2028 solar eclipse. 🌑

Job Vacancy – Full Time Position

Battery Hill Information Centre is looking for a full time staff member for an immediate start.

The role includes helping visitors, answering enquiries, taking bookings, selling souvenirs, keeping the centre tidy, and assisting with the daily running of the centre.

We are looking for someone friendly, reliable, and willing to learn. Customer service or tourism experience would be great, but is not essential.

Weekend work may be required as part of the normal roster.
